There's no such thing as a free lunch. Nobody sacrifices for the good of others. Whatever the situation is, whatever your intentions are, you know to yourself that you do things for your own interest. Everybody does everything for themselves and the golden rule bears witness to it. Simply because all of us are selfish by nature.
