It was my first time to travel alone last week. Rode an old Gulf Air plane en route to Dubai and I was SO bored the whole 9 hours and 20 minutes to Bahrain (layover flight). Sucks when your flight involves an old plane where the TV/monitor doesn't give you a list of shows to watch, you just have to suck it up and watch whatever there is in the 10 channels the plane offers (like, Les Misarables that was on repeat for the whole flight...). I turned the monitor off and never touched it again. The worst flight ever! I stuck to my book and my snoozing skills.
